Frequently Asked Questions

We understand you may have questions. Here are answers to some commonly asked queries:

Are your cockroach treatments really safe for my kids, pets and those of us with allergies?

Absolutely. We care first and foremost about safety. We use only Vet approved products to insure the highest quality for both home and business customers. Our breed of technicians are trained in precision application techniques allowing the products to work directly on the cockroach with minimal impact on non-target species. We will give you direction on what to do, like evacuate the room or cover the pet dishes for example, when needed for the utmost safety. We can also talk low-allergen and eco-friendly.

How long does it take to do a standard cockroach treatment.

As with any pest control, the time taken is largely dependent on the size of your Sydney property, the degree and spread of infestation and what methods will be implemented. On average, a typical homeowner treatment may range between (1-3) hours. We can be more accurate regarding the timing during the evaluation.

I will have to leave my home or business while you treat it?

With almost all internal treatments (especially targeted liquid sprays), we do recommend that people (and pets) stay out of treated areas for a time, usually 1-2 hours at least, and even as long as it takes the particular product being applied to dry completely. This will help to avoid irritation. In baiting-only treatments, it is usually not necessary to leave the house. We will give you detailed instructions customized for your treatment plan.

How soon will I see results, and will the cockroaches come back?

You can expect to see a major reduction in cockroach activity after a couple of days, but it may take several weeks to completely eliminate; especially when using a baiting program that is intended to get rid of the entire colony. Our control products are formulated for sustained control. You can greatly reduce the risk of reinfestation by following our preventive guidance. We even have annual maintenance schedules available for continuous care.

What makes professional treatment more effective than DIY cockroach sprays or traps?

I have used other roach-killer spray, which offer temporary results by killing the visible cockroaches, but their nest remain and in turn again breed more cockroaches. "Even over-the-counter products can become ineffective if you have got a resistance cockroach, particularly a German cockroach. Professionals also have access to a broader and more potent set of specialized products (such as IGRs and advanced baits) as well as the knowledge and skill required to use them strategically for a full and lasting eradication. We know how roaches act and where they’re coming from and how to treat areas they won’t.

How should I prepare my property for a cockroach treatment?

Preparation is key to making the treatment as effective as it can be. As a general rule, we recommend emptying cupboards under sinks in kitchens and bathrooms, as well as benchtops, freelaying of food, and that technicians also have free access to skirtings and potential harbourages. We will also give you a tailored list of preparation instructions for the procedure you are having done.
